MEDFORD VETERANS DAY CEREMONIES 2019

MEDFORD VFW POST 7677 AND AUXILIARY CEREMONIAL SCHEDULE

 

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2019

REPORT TIME: Please be at the Post NLT 1030 Hours 
PERSONNEL: Post Commander and Auxiliary President, Chaplain, Two Color Bearers, Five-person Firing Party
UNIFORM:
  Winter Blue Uniform with VFW OR AUX Cap
(If you don’t have the Blue Uniform, the VFW or Aux Cap with Dark Trousers, White Shirt, Dark Windbreaker or Sweater is appropriate)

We will convoy to the Medford Township Memorial Monument at 21 South Main Street and park in the lot behind the Medford Memorial Community Center.

At 1100 Hours, we will conduct a ceremony consisting of:

·        Brief Opening Remarks 

·        Introduction of Special Guests

·        Veterans Day Prayer

·        Laying of the Wreaths

·        Rifle Salute

·        Taps

SAFETY ALERT: We conduct this ceremony along the edge of Main Street and traffic flow is not stopped! 

Upon completion of this ceremony at the Medford Township Memorial Monument, we will return to Medford VFW Post 7677 to conduct the same ceremony in our Memorial Garden.

A catered lunch meal will be provided for members and guests in our Post Hall.

PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT THIS ACTIVITY.  
WE NEED COLOR BEARERS AND SHOOTERS.
