Antony Laudicina retired from the US Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant in May 2009 after over 25 years of active duty service to his Nation. His last military assignment was as the Functional Manager of Security Forces for the 621stContingency Response Wing, Joint Base McGuire – Dix – Lakehurst, NJ. Antony currently works for the State of New Jersey’s Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
Antony was born on the 6thof February 1965 in New Haven CT. He attended school at West Woods Christian Academy in Hamden CT, where he lettered in Soccer and Basketball. He was listed in the Who’s Who of American High School Students in 1982 and graduated in 1983. He holds a Master’s Degree in the Administration of Justice with a concentration in Homeland Security as well as a Masters in Criminal Behavior from Wilmington University.
Antony enlisted in September of 1983 as an Airman Basic. Following basic training he attended the Security Police Academy and arrived at his first duty station, Torrejon Airbase, Spain, in January 1984. Following Spain, he PCS’ed to the 8thSecurity Police Squadron, Kunsan AB Korea, followed by the 2803rdAerospace Guidance and Metrology Center Newark Ohio. Following Ohio, he PCS’ed to the 24thSecurity Police Squadron, Howard Air Force Base, Republic of Panama. While in Panama he was selected for the 1996 Olympic Security Team in Atlanta Georgia and was reassigned in Panama to the 612thTAG, Counter Drug Section before being assigned to the 305 Security Forces Squadron McGuire AFB New Jersey. While at McGuire he was selected to participate in the development of a new unit which became the 816thGlobal Mobility Readiness Squadron in the first Contingency Response Group in the Air Force.
Antony participated in multiple deployment with various U.S. and Host Nation military units to Germany, Italy, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Israel, Columbia, Cuba, Honduras, Peru, Afghanistan, Iraq, Bahrain, The United Arab Emirates and Tanzania. During his career, he earned various decorations and awards, both civilian and military.
Antony is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and has been the Commander for Medford Post #7677 from June 2017 to June 2020. Antony serves his community as a member of the Tabernacle Board of Education and the Tabernacle Township Local Emergency Planning Committee.
Antony lives with his Wife, Laura, in Tabernacle, NJ. He has four children and four grandchildren who also live in the area.
