Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7677 Receives All-State Award

Medford VFW Post 7677 recently earned an All-State Team Commander and Quartermaster Award from the VFW Department of New Jersey, a distinction only awarded to 38 VFW Posts in the State of New Jersey for the period 2018-2019. 

 

VFW Posts must meet numerous requirements to receive this distinction, such as; Presenting and participating in programs that promote loyalty to our country among students in grammar schools (Levy Award), middle school (Patriots Pen Award) and high school (Voice of Democracy Award). Supporting local Scouting Programs. Recognizing our local Teachers and First Responders. Participating in Americanism Activities, to include providing ceremonial functions honoring our fallen veterans. And, providing support to Veterans Homes and Homeless Veterans. 

 

Post Commander Tony Laudicina expressed his sincere thanks to the members of VFW Post 7677 and the Auxiliary, citing their commitment, dedication and unselfish devotion to meeting the needs of our veterans, their families, and to our community. 

 

This award represents the unwavering support and thousands of volunteer hours provided by the Members and Auxiliary of our Post during the year 2018-2019.
