William A. Bendy, 99, of Southampton, formerly of Rahway, passed away at home, on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He honorably served as a TSgt in the US Army in World War II. William worked for PSE&G for over 39 years, retiring in 1980. He was a lifetime member of the Medford VFW and the American Legion of Willingboro. William enjoyed bowling, woodworking, going to Atlantic City, and loved to travel with late wife, Marjorie.  

William was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marjorie who died in 1996. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Urbanski (Ted); his grandson, William Urbanski (Stephanie); his great-grandchildren, Brandon, Brianna, and Brynne; and his niece Noreen Rack (Bill).  

A viewing will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main Street, Medford, NJ 08055. A funeral ceremony will follow at 4:00 pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be private for the family, at Rahway Cemetery in Rahway, NJ.
