Michael A. Bruckler of the Leisuretowne section of Southampton, N.J. passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at home surrounded by his family. He was 74. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Michael resided in Southampton for the last 17 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. Michael was a member of the Teamsters Local 676, and the Medford VFW Post 7677. Michael enjoyed antique cars, car shows and working on and showing his 1969 Corvair. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Barbara (Moy) Bruckler; his two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Robert Powell, and Carol and Daniel Jacoby; his brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Jacqueline Bruckler; two grandchildren, Olivia and Alexander; his nieces and nephews, Aaron, Kelsey, Alice and Devon; and six great nephews. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, N.J., where his memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be held privately for the family.
